About the studio

A small team that believes support should feel unhurried.

Wendmark began with a simple frustration: the most important inner work and the most practical access help were both written to be skimmed, never read. We build the opposite.

A diverse group reflecting together in a calm, warmly lit room.

Why we keep it slow

We are a studio in the overlap of two needs that rarely sit together: the patient practice of understanding yourself, and the concrete steps of claiming the access you are entitled to. One is reflective, one is procedural. Both go better when nobody is rushing you.

Everything we publish is built for a single, comfortable sitting. Body copy holds to a readable measure, the contrast clears the highest accessibility bar, and a single warm accent carries every link so you always know where to look. The calm is not a mood board. It is the method.

A steady reader is a clearer reader. We design every page so attention can soften instead of brace.

What we hold to

Three commitments behind every page.

Reading first

Decoration earns its place only after the words do. Comfortable line length, real contrast, generous margins.

Honest about scope

We offer wellbeing guidance and access support, never medical or legal verdicts. We say so plainly and often.

Steady over fast

No streaks to break, no urgency manufactured. Progress that survives a hard week is the only kind we chase.

Small studio, steady reach.

The people

Three people, one calm standard.

Small on purpose. You work with the people who write the guides, not a queue.

Talia Brandt

Founder & reflection lead

Spent a decade in adult learning before building Wendmark around the practices that actually stuck with people. Holds the room for the slow work.

Devon Aldridge

Access & benefits guide

Translates dense eligibility rules into plain next steps. Has sat beside hundreds of first-time applicants and made the paperwork feel possible.

Yara Solano

Practice & editorial

Writes the long-form guides and keeps every prompt humane. Believes a sentence read slowly is worth ten skimmed.
